FULL DESCRIPTIONS:

Our company is looking for the qualified General Worker to start working urgently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have Grade 12 or NQF4
Must have minimum of 3+months of experience as a butcher.
Must have ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy cuts of meat.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate portioning and quality control.
Must have knowledge of food safety practices and cleanliness.
Must have understanding of food safety and sanitary requirements in the butchery.
Must have Clean Criminal Record

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cutting and Preparing Meat: Skilled in cutting, deboning, and portioning various types of meat (beef, pork, lamb, poultry, etc.).
To provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections, answering questions, and offering cooking tips.
To monitor stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring freshness.
To keep workstations, equipment, and display cases clean and sanitized.
Properly pricing and labelling meat products.
Adhering to food safety regulations and health standards.
To follow strict hygiene and food safety standards.
